On Wednesday night, American Idol stars Jordin Sparks and Clay Aiken competed against each other in an episode of the celebrity version of Name That Tune on FOX. They both ended up winning money to donate to their chosen charities. The episode also featured The Masked Singer winner Amber Riley.
Jordin Sparks, Clay Aiken Compete on Name That Tune
It was an American Idol reunion during Wednesday’s show, as Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks and Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken competed on the game show, which features former Idol judge Randy Jackson as the bandleader.
Sparks was playing for the organization Forge for Families, which she described as “a safe haven for kids and their families in the Third Ward in Houston.” Meanwhile, Aiken was playing for the National Inclusion Project, which he co-founded to teach summer camps and after-school programs how to be more accessible to kids with disabilities.
For the first round, it seemed like Sparks was the one to beat, as she correctly guessed songs by Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, and Demi Lovato. However, Aiken turned things around in the Bid-a-Note round, correctly guessing “YMCA” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” He got to move on to the final Golden Medley round, although the show still donated $10,000 to Sparks’ charity.
Aiken had the chance to win another $100,000 for his charity if he could guess seven songs in 30 seconds. Unfortunately, he had to pass on the first four songs before completely running out of time. Still, he won $31,000 for his charity from the previous rounds.

Amber Riley Also Competed on This Week’s Episode
Sparks and Aiken weren’t the only talent show stars to compete on this week’s episode of Name That Tune. The second half of the show featured The Masked Singer Season 8 winner Amber Riley competing against her former Glee co-star Chris Colfer.
Riley competed to win money for the organization Black Women Lead, while Colfer played for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The first round was mostly dominated by Colfer, with Riley correctly guessing just one remixed song.
During the second, Bid-a-Note round, Riley did better. She correctly guessed “Buffalo Soldier,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends?”, and “Shake Your Booty.” She moved on to the final Golden Medley round for a chance to win another $100,000.
Unfortunately, Riley was only able to name one of the seven songs in 30 seconds. Still, she won $46,000 for her charity.
