The Voice coach Blake Shelton just released a new video on his YouTube channel. The clip features a live performance of the song “God Gave Me You” from Los Angeles. Even though the song itself isn’t new, fans are happy to get a new performance from the country star.

Blake Shelton Performs ‘God Gave Me You’

“God Gave Me You” was originally released in 2010 by Christian singer Dave Barnes. In 2011, Shelton released his own version of the song on his sixth studio album, Red River Blue. It was a deeply personal song for Shelton, as it inspired him to propose to his ex-wife Miranda Lambert.

The song’s official music video featured clips of Lambert talking about her upcoming wedding to Shelton. “God Gave Me You” was nominated for Best Country Song at the Grammys. It also made it to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart.

In the new performance video, Shelton sings the song while backed up by a band. Several fans can be seen on a screen as they watch the performance remotely. Fans on YouTube are also loving the clip, which is one of several live performances Shelton has shared on YouTube over the past few months.

“Blake is our country cowboy artist!” wrote one commenter, adding, “I have always loved this song. It has always been one of my favorites!” Another fan called Shelton “a living legend.”
