Dancing with the Stars pro Emma Slater has a new hosting gig lined up for an upcoming series called Hollywood After Dark. Slater already has some hosting experience from her time on the recent DWTS Live tour.
DWTS Pro Emma Slater Is Hosting a New Show
According to Heavy, Slater will be the host of an upcoming live TV series called Hollywood After Dark. The show will reportedly be available both on television and online. It’s a new take on the show Playboy After Dark, which aired between 1969 and 1970.
The unscripted show will feature 35-50 celebrities hanging out during each episode. The upcoming series is the first new project from the Marketing Worldwide Corporation, and Slater is reportedly “thrilled to host it.”
Recently, Slater co-hosted the DWTS Live tour with former celebrity contestant Gabby Windey. In an Instagram post from earlier this month, Slater called it “a dream come true.” She also hinted at more hosting gigs to come.
“Hosting is such a big passion for me and has been for a long time,” Slater wrote. “I can’t wait to be doing more in the near future and I’m excited to dive into some of the opportunities I have coming up!”

Slater Is Currently Going Through a Divorce
Slater’s new hosting gig comes amid her split from husband and fellow DWTS pro Sasha Farber. The couple separated last year, and Slater officially filed for divorce from Farber in February, after nearly five years of marriage.
The split seems to be amicable, as the pair both competed on Season 31 of DWTS last year after separating, and they even danced together on the show’s recent tour. The final tour stop was this past Sunday in Las Vegas.
Slater joined DWTS in Season 17. In Season 24, she and her celebrity partner Rashad Jennings took home the Mirrorball trophy. Last season, she was paired with actor Trevor Donovan. They finished the competition in sixth place.
