Bebe Rexha and David Guetta surely met expectations in the official music video of “I’m Good (Blue).” From the soulfully stimulating piano tunes to the raving energy it gives, it’s no surprise that the song became a smash single.

Bebe Rexha, David Guetta’s Remix is a Massive Hit

On September 20, the duo released their official “I’m Good (Blue)” music video. The video itself highlights Bebe Rexha‘s vocals and David Guetta’s music. If you didn’t know, “I’m Good (Blue)” is a remix of 1999 hit song “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” by the Italian pop band Eiffel 65. Guetta produced the remake alongside fellow music composer Timofey Reznikov.

At present, “I’m Good (Blue)” has been topping music charts, most especially in the United Kingdom. It ranked no. 1 on Spotify UK and stretched to no. 3 on Global Spotify. All streams combined, the single has reached 100 million global listens and counting.

At first listen, the track is sonically pleasing and liberating. It might have not significantly turned away from the original song, but the remake managed to put a different taste to it.

Filmed in several scenic spots in Spain, the music video has further solidified the upbeat vibe of the song. “I’m Good (Blue)” shows off Bebe Rexha’s gorgeous voice as well as Guetta’s mixing. Not to mention the Ushuaïa nightclub party that’s intensely energizing to watch.

To conclude, this collaboration is one worth streaming on repeat. Understandably, it is a contagious single, urging listeners to have the “have the best f*ckin’ night.”

The Remix Magically Resurfaced on TikTok

DJ Guetta first introduced the track in the Ultra Music Festival 2017 in Miami, Florida. Guessing from this reference, Rexha and Guetta did not initially plan to release a studio version of this track. However, the song unexpectedly went viral on Tiktok in August 2022, prompting the duo to collaborate again.

Guetta referred to it as “TikTok Magic.” Bebe also addressed the hit song in the same platform, saying she would be willing to release the song.

“I remixed this song years ago and we never released it. I have no idea how it made it to tik tok but i love it! Cheers!” the singer said.
