Former World of Dance judge Jennifer Lopez is set to receive the Icon Award at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, which will be hosted by LL Cool J. The show will air live from Los Angeles on March 22.
Jennifer Lopez to Receive iHeartRadio Icon Award
According to a press release, the iHeartRadio Icon Award honors “impact on pop culture, longevity and continued relevance as a touring and radio force with a loyal fan base worldwide.” This year, that honor goes to Jennifer Lopez.
Last year’s recipient of the Icon Award was Elton John. Previously, Bon Jovi accepted the award in 2018.
Lopez has had quite the career, including eight studio albums and dozens of movie roles — most notably as the singer Selena in the 1997 biopic of the same name. Most recently, Lopez starred in the romantic comedy Marry Me and performed on the film’s soundtrack.
