Jonas Brothers fans have taken to TikTok to share their issues getting tickets to the group’s upcoming Broadway dates. Their complaints about Ticketmaster are reminiscent of fans’ issues getting tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour.

Jonas Brothers Fans Have Problems Getting Tickets

The Jonas Brothers recently announced that they would be performing five dates on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre this March, each themed to one of their albums. In order to buy tickets through Ticketmaster, fans needed a Verified Fan code.

Ticketmaster stressed that registering as a Verified Fan did not guarantee a ticket, and that some fans might be placed on a waitlist. Fans have since taken to TikTok to share their frustration with the ticket-buying system, especially since many tickets are being resold.

As TikTok user @felineofavenueb wrote, “not even having access to attempt to buy tickets is ridiculous.” They compared it to similar situations for artists such as Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.

Another user, @mrsjoejonas24, shared how many tickets for the group’s shows are currently being resold on StubHub. For each show, hundreds of tickets were up for sale on the platform. In every case, it was at least a quarter of the available seats. User @gabriellemonti posted that some of those tickets are being sold for over $1,000.

The Group Is Releasing a New Album Soon

The Jonas Brothers are gearing up to release their sixth studio album, titled simply The Album, later this year. The new project is set to be released on May 12. They recently shared the first single from the album, titled “Wings.”

Nick Jonas has teased that the new songs are “incredibly personal.” Another track on the album is “Montana Sky.” Other songs that have been teased include “Vacation Eyes” and “Waffle House.”

Ahead of their new album, the Jonas Brothers were inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in January. Although their original album release date was May 5, the band pushed it back a week to May 12. They wrote on Twitter, “Sometimes the best projects take a little bit longer than originally planned.”
