America’s Got Talent is officially back! Now that AGT is back for its 19th season on NBC, there’s been a huge twist to the show itself. Instead of 4 or 5 Golden Buzzers, this season will feature 9. Powerhouse singer Liv Warfield is among the recipients of the season.
Who is Golden Buzzer Recipient Liv Warfield?
Powerhouse vocalist LiV Warfield is among the auditioning acts that earned the coveted Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent 2024. Here’s everything to know about her.
According to LiV’s website, her show “is like no other. It’s like watching Tina Turner, Sade, and James Brown all in one, but she is uniquely her own artist.” The artists powerful vocals and impressive stage presence are the reason she’s been invited to perform and record with Prince, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, and Nancy Wilson. In the past, she was apart of Prince’s New power Generation, then, in 2016 she joined Roadcase Royale, a band formed with Nancy Wilson and members of Heart. Now, it seems like LiV Warfield is an independent artist.
Ahead of LiV’s America’s Got Talent audition, she’s performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Show with David Letterman, and The Arsenio Hall Show. This singer has won a Soul Train Music Award and was nominated as a BET Best New Artist. She has also performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Essence Festival.

LiV is most well known as a feature on Prince’s posthumous album, Welcome 2 America. She’s also been featured on tracks with Nancy Wilson, You and Me, and Joon Moon. In 2022 she released an album entitled Live At Cafe Wha? and in 2023 she released another album entitled: The Edge.
