One of our favorite things about shows like America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent is that we get to watch people of all ages perform. Over the years, we’ve seen some incredibly talented kid singers take the stage and perform big songs you would never expect from them.

1. Celine Tam

This singer, who was named after Celine Dion, was just 9 years old when she auditioned for AGT. She performed her namesake’s iconic song “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic, stunning the judges and audience with her powerhouse voice. In the Judge Cuts, guest judge Laverne Cox hit the Golden Buzzer for Celine. She made it to the Semifinals and went on to compete on World’s Got Talent.

2. Peter Rosalita

This 10-year-old singer auditioned for Season 16 of AGT with a cover of “All By Myself” by Eric Carmen, famously sung by Celine Dion. Dion later tweeted her praise for Peter’s strong performance, which brought the judges to their feet. Peter made it to the Semifinals after singing “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston and “Without You” by Mariah Carey.

3. Sophie Fatu

This singer is one of the youngest contestants to audition for AGT. She tried out for Season 13 of the show when she was just 5 years old, performing “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. Sophie earned a standing ovation from the judges. She returned in the Judge Cuts to perform “New York, New York,” but she didn’t make it through.

4. Bianca Ryan

At 11 years old, this singer became the first-ever winner of America’s Got Talent. She auditioned with a performance of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls. Judge Brandy stood up for the performance before it was even over. Bianca later returned to compete in the first season of AGT: The Champions at age 24.

5. Maia Gough

This singer auditioned for Series 9 of Britain’s Got Talent when she was 12 years old. She shared her admiration for Whitney Houston and went on to perform Houston’s song “I Have Nothing.” She belted out the powerful ballad, impressing the judges so much they gave her a standing ovation. Maia was eliminated in the Semifinals.

6. Immi Davis

This singer was 9 years old when she auditioned for Series 15 of BGT. She shocked the judges with her soulful rendition of “I Put a Spell on You.” Immi shared that she’s been watching the show since she was 5 and always wanted to compete. The judges gave her a standing ovation. Immi ended up making it to the Semifinals.

7. Arisxandra Libantino

This singer first auditioned for Series 5 of Britain’s Got Talent and later returned for Series 7 when she was 11 years old. She auditioned with a performance of “One Night Only.” Arisxandra showed off a voice beyond her years and brought the judges to their feet. She ended up making it all the way to the Finals.

8. Emanne Beasha

This opera singer, who previously won Arabs Got Talent, was just 10 years old when she auditioned for Season 14 of AGT. For her audition, she performed “Nessun dorma,” showing off a stunning voice and earning a standing ovation from the panel. In the Judge Cuts, Emanne earned the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Jay Leno. She made it all the way to the Finals.
