Tyler, The Creator’s new Call Me If You Get Lost album is the ultimate follow-up to his 2019 Grammy-winning album Igor. One of the biggest highlights of the entire album is Pharrell Williams going absolutely off with a 40-second rap verse. The song “Juggernaut” is a chaotic masterpiece.

Pharrell is the Biggest Surprise of Tyler, The Creator’s New Album

It feels like it has been forever since fans got to hear Pharrell rap. He was featured on Future’s “Move That Dope” in 2014. His verse pretty much made the song. He even hilariously referenced his giant hat collection in the song, calling the one on his head a “Gandalf hat.”

Before his song “Happy” became the anthem of every middle school graduation, Pharrell flexed his rapping skills on his first album In My Mind. Songs like “How Does It Feel?” and “You Can Do It Too” actually have deep lyrics that are still appreciated 15 years after their original release.

Pharrell really didn’t have to snap so hard on “Juggernaut” but he gave fans something very unexpected. To the surprise of many fans, he is not credited as a producer of the song. It definitely sounds like something that he would produce especially with the drumbeat. Tyler is the one who is credited as the producer of the song on Spotify.

Tyler also released a short music video for the song where stands in a field full of lemon trees. When the beat drops, he dances on top of a car shirtless. Tyler raps Lil Uzi Vert’s part of the song while he pulls the car by a rope. He flies through the air in another scene faster than the speed of light. Unfortunately, Pharrell was not a part of the video, but it still is a work of art.

Now, fans wait to see if Pharrell will put out a rap album since he is one of the most talented humans on the planet. The former coach of The Voice put out his collaboration album with N.E.R.D in 2017 and has pretty much carried the music of the Despicable Me franchise on his back since 2010.
