America’s Got Talent: All-Stars has shared an early release clip from Monday night’s new show, featuring Flau’Jae. The teenage rapper, who first appeared on AGT Season 13, delivered a powerful performance that made judge Simon Cowell emotional.

Flau’Jae Performs in AGT: All-Stars Early Release

Flau’Jae was 14 years old when she auditioned for Season 13. She shared at the time that her father, who was also a rapper, was murdered before she was born. For her audition, she rapped an original song called “Guns Down.”

The young rapper later earned a Golden Buzzer from Chris Hardwick in the Judge Cuts, sending her straight to the live shows. Unfortunately, Flau’jae was eliminated from the competition after her Quarterfinals performance.

Now she’s back on the AGT stage for All-Stars. Flau’Jae was 18 when her new performance was filmed, although she’s since turned 19. She started the performance backstage, with the camera following her as she walked out, rapping the whole way.

“I know who I am / They mistake my confidence for arrogance,” Flau’Jae rapped, before sharing lyrics about her father’s death. She ended the performance with a rendition of “Ready or Not” by Fugees.

What Did the Judges Think of Her Performance?

All three judges gave Flau’Jae’s performance a standing ovation. Howie Mandel called her a “beast to be reckoned with,” describing her as his “MVP” of All-Stars. Heidi Klum said she’s “talented and wise beyond your years.”

“I felt very emotional during that,” Simon Cowell told her. “You know, you were 14 when you first came on this show, and you came back so much better than you were before now. There’s no question about it. You’re already a star, and now you’re an all-star. I know you’re gonna be a bigger star, and I feel very proud.”

Find out whether the Superfans voted Flau’Jae into the Finals when the new episode of AGT: All-Stars airs Monday night at 8/7c on NBC.
