The annual Halloween night on Dancing With The Stars returns featuring spooky routines from the nine remaining couples. Watch as couples put on their best performances and costumes while dancing to Halloween-related songs on the show.

Dancing With The Stars Halloween Night Preview

The upcoming episode will have Halloween-inspired dance routines performed by the couples. The couples will bring their costumes and put on a spooky performance this Monday. Stakes are high and the competition is more challenging than ever.

On Friday, October 28, Dancing With the Stars announced that fan favorite Val Chmerkovskiy will not compete on the Monday’s episode, due to a positive COVID-19 test. Hopefully this doesn’t put Val and Bachelorette Star Gabby Windey at a disadvantage. Alan Bersten will replace Val until he’s able to compete again.

The upcoming episode will air on the night of October 31, adding a more festive feel to the holiday. Halloween night will also feature team dances where the couples are split up into two, Team Wicked and Team Scream. Team dances are usually even pairs in each team, not this time though. With nine remaining couples, one will have five pairs while the other will have four.

Team Wicked features five couples performing to “The Witches Are Back,” from Hocus Pocus. Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki; Shangela and Gleb Savchenko; Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev; Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong and Gabby Windey and Alan Bersten will compete as Team Wicked.

The opposing team will dance to the 2009 Yeah Yeah Yeahs hit song “Heads Will Roll.” The Team Scream couples are Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater; Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas; Wayne Brady and Witney Carson, and lastly Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart.

Halloween Night Couple Songs, Dance Styles

The song and dance styles for the nine couples’ personal routines have also been revealed at this time. The hosts, supermodel, and businesswoman Tyra Banks and actor Alfonso Ribeiro will walk out to “Night Crawling,” by Miley Cyrus.

After a perfect score on Michael Bublé Night, Charli and Mark will try to replicate the same outcome with their Argentine Tango routine to “Tanguera,” by Fabio Hager Sexteto. Gabby and Alan are also performing an Argentine Tango to “Shivers,” by District 78 featuring Mikayla Lynn.

Looking to redeem themselves after being in the bottom two last week, Trevor and Emma will do a Contemporary routine to “Ghost (Acoustic),” by Justin Bieber. Meanwhile, Wayne and Witney will dance the same style to “Halloween Theme” by District 78.

Differing from the others, Daniel and Britt will dance the Paso Doble to “Bury a Friend,” by Billie Eilish. While Vinny and Koko will try to outdo the previous team in the same style to “Get Ghost,” by Mark Ronson.

The teams that will be doing a Tango routine are Heidi and Artem, as well as Jordin and Brandon. The first team doing the Tango will dance to “I Wanna Be Your Slave,” by Måneskin. While the other team will perform their routine to “Oogie Boogie’s Song,” by Ed Ivory and Ken Page.

Earning their best score last week, Shangela and Savchenko will try improve even more with their Jazz routine to “Look What You Made Me Do,” by Taylor Swift.
