What Happens to Your Body When You Stop Wearing Underwear

For many of us, wearing underwear is a routine that is almost like breathing, and the thought of walking around without them might seem odd. In reality, you might actually get more benefits when you decide to stop wearing them and it could even help with acid reflux.

We at Bright Side researched the idea of going panty free and we found surprising results that we’d like to share with all of you.

You will be less prone to acid reflux.

Tight clothes, like underwear, can push your abdomen up which can create pressure on your stomach and cause acid reflux, resulting in heartburn. Even though this health problem is common among 20-30-year-old adults, getting rid of your underwear can lower the chance of acid reflux.

You won’t get a yeast infection that often.

There is a bacteria that most of you already know about or may have even had issues with, candida. This bacteria can be found in 20% of women. Even though some might never experience any symptoms, if complications happen it can result in a yeast infection. Because cotton retains moisture and creates the perfect area for bacteria to grow, deciding to not wear panties might lower your chances of getting the infection.

You will feel more comfortable and it will reduce the odor.

Most of us have experienced sweating down there. This moisture gets trapped by your underwear which can increase the odor. Not wearing panties will allow the sweat to evaporate, which will result in less chafing, and that will keep the odor to a minimum.

Your bikini zone will be safer.

Your intimate parts are made of delicate tissues, similar to your lips. Underwear that are made from artificial materials and ones that are tight can irritate, injure, and create infection in your bikini area. The worst part is, it can hurt. Getting rid of panties and wearing only loose-fitting clothes can reduce and in some cases completely remove your chances of irritation.

Your intimate area will be less prone to sensitivity and allergies.

Because many clothes, including panties, contain artificial fabrics, colors, and chemicals, they can easily create an allergic reaction. This reaction can manifest itself as irritation, blisters, rashes, and bumps. In this situation, no panties means fewer clothes that can cause allergies.

Men also can benefit from going commando.

The same goes for men, who can also reduce their chances of irritation and injury. Actually, it can mean less infection and itchiness. In addition, it helps keep the reproductive system healthy.

What do you think of an underwear free lifestyle? Have you tried it before, and if yes did you see any benefits?
